Smartiflix is fully committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of content creators, rights holders, and copyright owners. We take all copyright infringement claims seriously and respond promptly to valid DMCA notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512).
What We Do — and Don't Do

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner or authorized representative and believe that content accessible through our service infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature (or that of an authorized representative).
- Clear identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The specific URL or description of the material claimed to be infringing.
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Our Response Process
Upon receiving a complete and valid DMCA notice, Smartiflix will:
Acknowledge receipt of your notice within 48 business hours.
Investigate the claim and review the reported content against our service.
Take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the reported content.
Notify the alleged infringer of the takedown where applicable.
Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to info@smartiflix.it.com. A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and its original location.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake.
- Your name, address, phone number, and consent to jurisdiction in your federal judicial district.
Repeat Infringer Policy
Smartiflix has a zero-tolerance policy for repeat copyright infringers. Accounts found to be repeatedly violating copyright law will be permanently terminated without refund.
